Privacy Policy

SAPA TRIP ("the app") is a trilingual guide to the Sapa Vietnamese market in Prague-Libuš. This policy explains what data we process, why, and your choices.

WHAT WE COLLECT
• Account: your email address and name when you register or sign in (including Sign in with Apple). If you use Sign in with Apple's private-relay option, we only receive a relay email.
• Profile: an optional profile picture and a short bio you choose to add.
• Usage on the app: places you save (favorites) and check-ins, used to power your profile, loyalty points and streaks.
• Technical identifiers: an account ID and, if you allow notifications, a push token so we can deliver announcements.
• Location: with your permission (When In Use), your approximate or precise location is used only to center the map and show places near you. The app works fully if you deny location.
• Analytics: aggregated, first-party usage events (e.g. screens viewed) to improve the app. We do not use this to track you across other apps or websites and we do not share it with data brokers.

HOW WE USE IT
We use your data only to operate the app: authenticate you, save your favorites and check-ins, show nearby places, send optional broadcast announcements about the market, and improve the experience.

SHARING
We do not sell your personal data. Content you choose to make public (such as a public profile link you share) is visible to anyone with the link. Service providers who host the app process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

NOTIFICATIONS
Notifications are optional. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings; this does not require an account.

DATA RETENTION & DELETION
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from the app: open the Profile tab and tap Delete account. Deletion removes your account, profile, favorites and check-ins.

CHILDREN
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.
